What is Campus Crime Stoppers?
The Campus Crime Stopper program operates under the umbrella of Midland Crime Stoppers and works closely with law enforcement to keep our students and campuses safe. Campus Crime Stoppers allows students to remain anonymous and/or confidential when they report criminal or illegal activity occurring on their campus without the fear of retaliation and pays cash rewards when information leads to an arrest or incident being solved.
How can a student submit an anonymous tip?
We encourage all students to use one of the following ways to ensure anonymity when submitting a tip.
HOTLINE: 432-694-TIPS (8477)
WEBSITE: www.694tips.com
MOBILE APP: P3 TIPS
If there is an emergency, such as a gun on campus, the student can report this to a teacher, Principal or school officer.
What can I report?
Maybe you overhear someone bragging about having committed a crime or having drugs on them Maybe you know someone who was involved in a burglary or theft (at school or even at another location) Maybe you see something that doesn't look or seem right or you see that they have a weapon Whatever you see or hear, you never know if your tip helps to solve a crime. So make the call and be part of the solution!
Do I get a reward?
Students are eligible to receive a cash reward if their tip leads to an arrest or if there was disciplinary action taken by the administration. A reward scale determines all rewards depending on the number of persons arrested, danger to the tipster, value of drugs seized, or if weapons were recovered. We encourage students to use the hotline, website, or mobile app to ensure their anonymity. We always pay cash rewards, and tipsters eligible for rewards will be provided information on how to receive their reward.
